The 14 patient room design-build addition to the Mountain View Regional Hospital began in March 2010 and finished early June 2010. Our team expedited the process of preconstruction and construction without sacrificing the quality required for the facility. As the Design-Builder, we compiled our best subcontractors and suppliers for the project, gave them the budget and schedule requirements, and hit the ground running when the construction phase began.
The Groathouse|Saunders team worked very closely with the hospital staff during our mechanical and electrical tie-in process
to ensure disruption was kept to a minimum and that all planned outages were scheduled with full detail with plenty of notice. The
key to our success was that we had one point person who was our communications manager with hospital staff to discuss safety,
infection control requirements and schedule.
This project was completed ahead of a very aggressive construction schedule and Groathouse|Saunders returned approximately $150,000 of savings below the GMP.
Evanston MOB
Groathouse Saunders, LLC is the selected Design-Builder for the Medical Office Building in Evanston, Wyoming.
Our success completing the Mountain View Regional Hospital Expansion in Casper, Wyoming led us to the contract to complete this project as well.
Construction is planned to begin in Spring 2011.
This 480 sf emergency generator addition service to the West Park Hospital was completed in seven months. A new building was constructed to house the new generators and tied the service into the existing hospital. The site was constrained due to the location of the new generator which is located on the north side of the hospital adjacent to the Emergency Room entrance.
The Method of Procedure process started in June, 2010 and completed in July 2010. This process involved taking the existing electrical circuits and connecting them onto the new Generator Service. Many months of planning were involved in this process with close collaboration with hospital staff regarding schedule and safety.
